Homicide detectives from the Lagos State Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (SCIID), Panti Street, Yaba, are on the trail of a driver, Collins Onyeka, alias Yinka, who fled after stabbing a baker, Daniel Dennis, 25, to death, following a disagreement in the Ilasan area of Ajah. 

It was gathered that the incident occurred on December 8, 2023, around 8am at their work place in Ajah, where the victim worked as a baker for one Peju Adeniyi, while the suspect worked as a driver of the delivery van. 

Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said policemen from Ilasan Division visited the scene and that the corpse was evacuated and deposited at the Yaba General Hospital.
