In 1988, Michael Jackson and Princess Diana met for the first and only time in a remarkable historical moment. Diana, a fan of the “Thriller” and “Bad” albums, attended Michael’s concert at Wembley Stadium with Prince Charles. Nervous about the occasion, Michael decided to remove the song “Dirty Diana” (a song title) from the setlist, but the Princess insisted, saying, “Are you going to do Dirty Diana? That’s one of my favorites!”

That night, Diana enjoyed the show very much, and Michael gifted Prince William and Prince Harry some jackets from the tour. Although Diana and Michael only saw each other in person once, their meeting left a lasting impression.
