Beyonce And Rihanna’s Story

BEYONCÉ PLAYED A KEY ROLE IN RIHANNA’S CAREER ACCORDING TO L.A REID

Did you know that Rihanna did her audition for Def Jam Records with a Beyoncé song? 👀

Rihanna is now the second richest female musician in the world after she was slightly leapfrogged by Taylor Swift. However, she’s still the richest female musician of color across the globe. With a professional career spanning 21 years, it’s just unbelievable, her growth.

According EPIC records CEO L.A Reid, who worked with Jay-z back in the day, he firt set his eyes on Rihanna at the Island Def Jam Records in 2005, and didn’t even know she was a musician before Jay-z introduced Rihanna to him. In his Memoir, he described Rihanna as “A startlingly beautiful young 17-year-old from BarbadosShe opened her audition with a Beyoncé song, singing, but the whole time piercing me with these laser eyes. I saw her determination, her commitment. I saw someone who was going to be a big star someday. My head was spinning. She sang another song, “Pon De Replay,” that would become her first hit. After she was done, I looked at Jay Z. Don’t let her leave the building,” Reid said.

Rihanna was signed, and she went on to become one of the unprecedented threats to Beyoncé, who was having a budding career. It didn’t take the “umbrella” singer any long to release back-to-back hits. But these weren’t even as threatening as rumors that he and Beyoncé’s boyfriend, Jay-z were having an affair. These rumors incidentally strained her relationship with Beyoncé and any possible chances of collaborating with each other.

The question about who’s a bigger star between both artists [Beyoncé and Rihanna] is still one hot debate but one fans can’t wrap their heads around is why the two of most the most influential musicians of color have never had a song together, despite Jay-z and be having songs together as well as Rihanna and Jay-z?

Why do you think both of them have never had a song together?
